Feared of Being Hypocrites

Ibn Abi Mulaykah has said:

أدركت ثلاثين من أصحاب النبي -صلى الله عليه وسلم- كلهم يخاف النفاق على نفسه
“I met thirty of the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him), all of whom feared being hypocrites”["Al-Jawaab Al-Kafi", 79].

Example of the Dunya

Wahb Bin Munbih said:

مثل الدنيا والآخرة كمثل رجل له ضرتان إن أرضى إحداهما أسخط الأخرى

“The example of the dunya (worldly life) and hereafter is like the example of a man who has two wives. If he pleases one of them, the other one will be displeased”.
